For this episode I am joined by Registered Dietician Laurie Barker Jackman, a former neighbour of mine and a friend for many years. She’s also a TV personality with a regular segment on – you guessed it – nutrition, as part of CTV Morning Live in Atlantic Canada. Now, I’ve had nutrition on my radar as a topic for a while, and I’ve shied away for a bit because I know it’s a weakness in my own daily routine. Not that i eat badly, but I don’t actively plan for dietary success either, and I feel like I should. So, I finally decided to take the plunge and connect with Laurie to see if she might be interested in coming on the talk shop and she was happy to share. No matter what your interest in fitness, it’s clear from my chat with Laurie that one of the smartest things you can do is invest some time in planning your diet wisely and personalizing it to your specific needs, whether that’s every day life or fueling fitness routines with intensity.
So for this episode, let’s talk food, fuel, energy in for energy out. Your daily performance depends on what you do in the kitchen. In 10 seconds I’ll chat with Registered Dietician, Laurie Barker Jackman, as we talk about the fact that what comes out is in fact dependent on what goes in… interpret as you will.
